Meet FELICIA! Felicia is an adorable, sweetheart! Look at that sweet face with the expressive eyes and rabbit ears! She is about 6-7 years old, a great size at 33 pound. Pictures just don't do this beautiful brindle boxer mix justice. Felicia is comfortable and quiet in social situations and gets along with everyone she meets!! Felicia found herself through no fault of her own in a rural North Carolina shelter that does not get many adoptions. Poor Felicia (and another young dog) were turned into the shelter when their owner was no longer available to take care of them. PetConnect came to Felicia's rescue and found a safe temporary local foster until she could be brought to the DC area to find her new home. Felicia will be best in a home with moderate to low activity. While she is a middle-age gal, she is healthy, enjoys her walks, and meeting people. Most of all, Felicia settles down nicely in the comfort of her foster home to hang out in her dog bed or cuddle with her human. If you are looking for a very sweet, low-energy gal, Felicia may be the one for you! Felicia seems to understand housetraining, and would be a great companion.
