She needs some special love Forever Special Needs Foster needed in the Southern California area. Kelsey came to us with a horrific flea infestation, infections in her eyes, severe periodontal disease, and had mammary tumors. She was missing about half her fur. After treatment and surgery, the mammary tumors are completely gone, the periodontal disease is resolved, and her fur grew in beautifully. Her eyes no longer have infections, but she is blind. Kelsey gets eye drops for inflammation twice a day and she is very cooperative. She is also deaf. Despite her disabilities, Kelsey navigates the house and the yard quite well . She can use a ramp and can step up or down from the patio to the yard. Kelsey does her business in the backyard, but will not ask to go out if she is in the house so she wears a diaper when she is not supervised. She is 9 - 10 years old and weighs 17 lbs.
