Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 1/18/2026: Wagglebottom - female - 3 years old - 6.14 (emaciated) pounds - parti Shih Tzu Reason for intake: Wagglebottom came to us from animal control. This sweet girl is literally skin on bones. She was brought to animal control after wandering by buses at a high school in West Monroe. She's a hot mess right now but she'll soon be in great shape. She's heading to our vet next week. She came in on the 18th but we wanted to keep her for a week before sending her to the vet to give her some good groceries, get rid of the fleas, bathe her, deworm, etc., so that she'll be in better shape for spaying, etc., at the vet. She'll be heading to the vet the week of 1/26/2026. Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
