Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/31/2026: Rococo - female - 5 years old - 10.6 pounds - Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix Reason for intake: Rococo came to us via a rescue-friend. She had some vetting already done. She is heartworm positive and has hookworms and whipworms (intestinal parasites). She has started the slow-kill for the heartworms and we are doing an aggressive treatment for the intestinal parasites. She is already spayed. She's already been to the vet for whatever else she needed but we need to get a clear fecal which will be the week of April 6, 2026. Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
