Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/2/2026: Mrs. Possum - female - 15 years old - 8.6 pounds - Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix Reason for intake: Mrs. Possum was originally owned by a local woman who was involved in rescue. She passed away about a year and half ago. Mrs. Possum then went to another lady who has had a spinal injury. Mrs. Possum has been boarded at the vet until placement could be found. We were contacted and took her in. What a sweet little girl! Everything but microchipping has been done so we'll be posting her for adoption very soon! Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
