Lady Luck (NOT YET AVAILABLE)
Status: Last posted as 'available' on 03/24/25

Female Dog, Chihuahua

Chihuahua / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/23/2025: Angela - female - approx DOB 12/23/2023 - 11.4 pounds - Chihuahua Lady Luck - female - approx 9 years old - 17.8 pounds - Chihuahua mix Pennie - female - 15 years old - 10.2 pounds - Shih Tzu Reason for intake: A former volunteer of ours sadly has the beginning stages of dementia and contacted us for help with her babies. We took them in. She's always taken excellent care of her babies but due to her health has not been able to in the past couple of years. Dementia is a horrible disease, and we hope by taking in her animals it will relieve her of some of the stress this disease is causing her. Pennie is heading to the groomer the week of 3/24/25 and then to the vet for a few things. Angela and Lady Luck will be heading to the vet for spay and everything else they need. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
