Description:
Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying. Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/9/2026: Gypsy - female - approx 2 years old - 6.10 pounds - Yorkie/ wire-haired Jack Russell mix Reason for intake: Gypsy came to us with Pippin from animal control. These two were left / abandoned by Sherwin Williams on Airline Drive. They were skittish, but a nearby nail salon started feeding them so they wouldn't venture out on Airline Drive. Animal control came out but they, too, didn't want to spook them into Airline Drive. They told the nail salon to continue to feed them so they would feel safe so they could get them. That evening, the nail salon was able to get them and keep them until the following day and animal control picked them up. They may be scared but they will be just fine in a few days. We think Pippin might be the daughter of Gypsy. They are currently at our vet for everything they need. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” ~ Gandhi Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
