Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ADOPTION RETURN Original intake date: 1/15/2023 Adopted: 2/10/2023 Returned - adopter in hospice and has since passed - 12/17/2025 Belle Rae - female - 10 years old - 11.14 pounds - Jack Russell Terrier/ Yorkie mix Reason for intake: Belle Rae came to us in 2023, with Mandy Moo (who has been adopted), when sadly, their owner passed away. A family member reached out to us for help. She was adopted about a month after arrival. We were reached out to recently by a family member of the adopter that she was in hospice. By the time, we picked Belle Rae up... the adopter had passed away. No one ever tells you that in rescue, you're going to deal with so much human heartbreak. We, unfortunately, deal with a lot of it. We are sending prayers to the family as they grieve their beloved. Belle Rae may have a bright future that we are already aware of... stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
