Thank you for your cooperation.NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 3/23/2024: Ava Mae - female - approx 4 years old - 12.6 pounds - Jack Russell Terrier Reason for intake: Ava Mae was posted on-line for a new home along with a Beagle. The person who posted was helping someone who had the dogs after they were abandoned upon him by a "friend"... (I guess that friendship is over now). She met the man when two of the dogs got out of the yard. The man was overwhelmed by it all... claiming the dogs keep getting out and he has three dogs of his own. She offered to help him find somewhere for the two dogs to go and that's where we come in. We were able to take in the little JRT and we are trying to find a rescue for the Beagle since we just don't have room for a dog his size right now. Ava Marie is a sweet little girl and heading to our vet the week of 3/25/2024. (Note: It appears her left eye is smaller than her right eye and she seems to be squinting so we will have our vet check that out.) Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
