LEONARD IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER OCTOBER 15 DUE TO HIS VETTING REQUIRMENT. Leonard is a 10-week-old, male, possible Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that weighs about 12 lbs. He will likely be a medium to large dog when full grown. Leonard and his 6 siblings came from Oklahoma in mid-August. He is a sweet puppy that loves attention and loves to be held and snuggled. Leonard loves toys and playing with his siblings. He has access to a kiddie pool and enjoys the occasional dip on a hot day. He is a wonderful mix of sweet and energetic. Leonard would do well as a single dog or with another dog. He has not met cats or kids, but with proper introductions and guidance, he should do well with all. Leonard will need introduced to leash, kennel, and house training in his new home.
