He’s a sweet, social, and endlessly affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to love and be loved. Oscar is playful, people-oriented, and wonderfully gentle. He’s great with other dogs, enjoys the dog park, and gets along with humans of all ages. He’s the kind of dog who will lean into you for pets, follow you from room to room, and melt your heart with his sad-eyed charm. Like all hounds, he has a sharp nose…and an occasional mischievous streak! Clothing with strong scents (like workout gear) needs to stay in the hamper, or Oscar may decide it’s a chew toy. He’s fully crate-trained and potty-trained, sleeps well indoors, and will happily snuggle in bed if allowed. Oscar did have a broken leg as a pup, but it’s completely healed, and he’s in excellent health now. He’s not a heavy drooler except after a big drink of water, and he’s otherwise easygoing and low-maintenance for his size. He must be kept on leash outdoors, as his tracking instincts are strong. Oscar thrives on companionship and consistency… he’s happiest in a home where he’s part of the daily rhythm and receives plenty of attention, playtime, and gentle guidance. Summary:  3 years old, 95 lbs, black & tan  Crate & potty trained  Exceptionally social and affectionate  Great with other dogs, cats, and people of all ages  Healed leg injury (no ongoing issues)  Must stay leashed outdoors Oscar is the ultimate loyal buddy…sensitive, loving, and always ready for the next adventure (or nap) by your side.To complete an adoption application, click here: /forms/form?formid=5879
