Description:
My name is Seven and I am a cream miniature poodle/golden retriever. I am a spayed female and I am 5 years and 7 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 02/28/2026 due to the fact my owner was not able to afford to take care of me. They were my family for 5.5 years. I am used to living inside during the day and night. I am potty trained. I am a medium energy dog and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I am not used to being left in a crate, I am still learning to walk nicely on a leash. My owner said I pull/tug on the leash a bit. There are lots of things you can do to get me to walk comfortably and safely on a leash. The staff can tell you all about it! I would do well with simple obedience training to help us bond and for us to learn how to communicate with each other. I do not need a fence, but I did have one in my previous home. It would be nice if my owner had one so I can run around freely like I'm used to! I can be good with men, women, and children, and I can be good with other dogs. I have never been around cats before. I am afraid of loud noises - who isn't? The shelter staff would be happy to talk with you about how to help me to manage my fears.Note from shelter staff: Seven's owner described her as gentle, playful, clumsy, and curious. She loves to run around in her backyard, snuggle with people on the couch, and go on walks.
