Description:
My name is Heppa and I am a black & white border collie/mix. I am a spayed female and I am 1 year old. I am here because my owner had too many dogs on their property. I was a mom to five puppies. I was surrendered with all my puppies. I'm so sad, because everyone adopted my puppies and left me behind. A few people even considered adopting me, but once they met my babies, they chose them over me. Now that my babies have been adopted, I'm READY to go to my forever home!I am potty trained (yay) and I can handle being left in a crate when my owner needs to leave me. I am a medium energy dog and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I have learned `sit` and do well with basic hand gestures (pointing down to tell me to get down from something, patting your knee to get me to come over) but I would still benefit from simple obedience training to help us bond and for us to learn how to communicate with each other. I do not do well with children, they are scary to me! I can be good with other dogs with a proper introduction, and I cannot live with cats - I think they are something to chase!
