This dog's adoption fee is $750. If you are still interested, please read more below. Meet Scooby!! This giant came to ARF as his aging owner got sick and could no longer care for him. Leaving the only home he had ever known was very stressful for Scooby, but he settled into his foster home very quickly. He plays well with the resident X-Large dog in his foster home, Scooby LOVES toys and to play or wrestle, and as soon as he is done playing, he wants to cuddle right up next to you on the couch. And he is an expert Dane-style lap-sitter. Scooby would do best with kids over 10 years old as he is very playful and very large and doesn't always understand his size. A familiarity with Great Danes is a plus, but not a necessity. Scooby needs consistent training to teach him to walk nicely on a leash and a basic obedience class will be required of his adopters. Scooby has so much love to give and can't wait to find his forever family! No apartments, please. Scooby is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken, and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
