If you see a pet here, they are still available for adoption and you should apply through our adoption application on our website at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/ Harper is a 3 month old female Great Pyrenees who weighs in at 23 pounds. This pup's adoption fee is $850. If you are still interested, please read more below. Harper is a sweet-tempered girl who likes to snuggle when she is finally ready to stop playing HARD with her brother!! She is sleeping through the night in the crate after a settling down period. Harper seems to understand potty is to be accomplished outside. She is always ready for a pet - especially if her brother is getting one. Her fur is super soft. Harper is a typical puppy! This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Given this pups large breed status, it is best for the health of the dog to wait to spay until 6 months of age. At that point, ARF will cover the cost of a basic spay at one of our vet partners. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Please note ARF does not approve applications for any puppy under 6 months of age to families that live outside of Illinois and/or beyond 100 miles of Wheaton or Glen Ellyn, IL.
