Meet Spencer! Spencer is a really handsome 54lb hound mix with a tri-color that is mostly white, with some chestnut on his face and ears and super cute cow spots of black on his body. Spencer is so playful and fun. He has legs for days and would love a younger dog as a playmate and a fenced in yard to run in and explore. Spencer is true to what appears to be at least part of his breed in that he will sniff out small prey like chipmunks, etc. so we don’t recommend a home with any other small non-dog animals as pets. But other dogs in the home? Oh 100% yes, that is really the best environment for this social guy! Spencer is brave, and did we mention playful, and is lots of fun to have around. He loves meeting new people and is up for adventure as he loves riding in cars, visiting dog-friendly places and checking out new things. Because he is energetic and wants to play, Spencer’s ideal family will be one that is not gone long hours of the day or is one that will utilize a reputable doggie daycare where he can play with new friends nonstop. We would love for you to meet this social guy so please fill out the adoption app right away! The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
