Female Dog, Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Description:

Meet Lady Lily, a 13-year-old Corgi weighing in at 30 pounds who carries herself with all the grace of royalty. After spending her entire life in a loving home, she found herself in rescue when her owner could no longer care for her. Thanks to the patience of her foster family, Lily has truly blossomed and is ready to charm her way into her forever castle. This gentle girl has proven to be house trained, crate trained, and polite with both big and small dogs. She’s also shown she can do well with respectful children, though her ideal home will be on the quieter side. Once she feels safe, Lily’s sweet personality shines—she loves following her person around, snuggling close, and happily soaking up gentle attention. She’s a loyal shadow who just wants to be near her favorite human. Lily enjoys short strolls, time in the yard, and rolling in the grass with her little legs carrying her along at a surprisingly peppy pace. She also adores car rides and, true to her noble ways, sitting for treats. While she isn’t one for rowdy play or toys, she delights in the simple comforts of companionship and love. Like any lady of stature, Lily appreciates a patient introduction when she moves into a new home, as she can feel stressed until she settles in. But once she does, you’ll discover a happy, affectionate, and loyal companion who is eager to share her golden years with someone who will treasure her. Her adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
