Meet Dumbo – The Puppy With a Heart as Big as His Ears Dumbo is a 3-month-old pit bull terrier mix who currently weighs just 11 pounds, but don’t let his size fool you—he’s full of love, personality, and puppy charm! Described as friendly, outgoing, confident, adaptable, happy, playful, and loyal, this little guy is ready to bring joy to his forever family. Dumbo loves kids and other dogs, and while he’s a bit unsure about cats for now, he’s still young and learning. His favorite place to be is snuggled up in a lap—whether it’s with his people or his doggy siblings. He enjoys a good game of fetch, wrestling with his foster siblings, chewing on his Benebones, and joining in for the daily school carpool ride. Car rides with the kids are his favorite adventure! Like all puppies, Dumbo is still learning, but he’s already mastered “sit” and is doing wonderfully with his house training. With a regular schedule, he’ll have it down in no time. He’s also learning not to chew on fingers with those sharp little puppy teeth and responds great to redirection with a toy. His foster mom says it best: “Dumbo is the sweetest little guy with a heart as big as his ears! He loves to play, snuggle, and be part of the family. We love his puppy kisses most of all.” If you’re looking for a smart, playful, and incredibly loving puppy, Dumbo is ready to wiggle his way into your home and heart. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
