Baguette, affectionately called Baggie, is a friendly, outgoing, and playful pup with an easygoing personality and a heart full of love. His estimated date of birth is December 17, 2024. His mom is reportedly a Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) and his dad a Wire Hair Terrier. He currently weighs 17 pounds and is expected to be medium-sized when fully grown. Baggie is a happy and adventurous boy who enjoys playing in the yard with his foster dog siblings, chewing on sticks and hard bones, and playing with toys in the house. He also loves curling up next to his people on the couch for some snuggle time. He has just started going on walks and is already a big fan. He does well with other dogs, cats, and kids, and would thrive in a home with another canine friend. He is making good progress with house-training and already knows how to sit. He prefers to sleep near his people or another dog at night but does okay in a crate when he knows no one is home. He does get carsick, so shorter car rides or some prep ahead of time may help make travel easier for him. Baggie would make a wonderful companion for an active family or an individual with another dog to keep him company. He is loyal, adaptable, and full of joy—ready to bring love and laughter to his forever home. His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if four months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
