Meet New Mexico, a fun-loving and playful pup who is ready to steal your heart. When he’s not busy playing with toys or chasing after leaves and flies, New Mexico is becoming quite the snuggler! He loves to crawl up and rest his head on you, enjoying pets and cuddles.New Mexico has matured past the chewing stage. Though he occasionally carries a shoe or sock around, he hasn’t caused any damage since joining his foster family. He is smart and eager to learn; he knows commands like sit, lay down, and kennel up, and he’s currently working on come, stay, and leave it. New Mexico loves other dogs but can sometimes be a little unsure of smaller dogs, we believe he can learn to be comfortable around them with proper guidance. He enjoys walks and is a decent walker, staying close to your side. New Mexico is calm for his age, with bursts of playful energy, but he’s not hyper or high-energy.In terms of potty training, he is 90-95% housebroken. He reliably does his business outside and can go all night in his kennel without issues.
