Sweet Macy was dealt a difficult start in life, coming from a hoarding situation where she didn’t receive the care and stability she deserved. Despite her past, Macy has already made incredible progress in her foster home and continues to grow more confident every day.Around 7 years young, Macy is potty trained and puppy pad trained, and she enjoys the comfort and routine of her crate at night. She gets along with other dogs but prefers slow introductions and time to warm up as she learns to feel safe and secure.Macy’s favorite things include gentle pets, cozy cuddles, tasty treats, and staying close to her foster person. As she settles in, her sweet personality shines brighter each day. Even during her recent vet visit, the staff couldn’t stop praising her for being such a good girl — especially during her nail trim!Macy would likely do best in an adult-only home with someone patient and understanding who can provide consistency, guidance, and lots of reassurance as she continues learning what it means to be safe and loved.This gentle girl is ready for a calm, loving forever home where she can finally enjoy the comfort and happiness she has always deserved.
