I am 44 lbs., and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $450 Meet Stanley! This striking American Staffordshire Terrier/Chinese Shar-Pei mix is on the lookout for his forever home—and he’s hoping it might be with you! Stanley is a high-energy guy with a big personality. When he gets excited, he proudly announces it with an adorable little “woo-woo!” that’s sure to make you smile. Stanley is very food motivated and eager to learn, which makes training a fun adventure. He already knows the command “sit” and is currently working hard on mastering “lay down.” With a few tasty treats and some encouragement, this smart boy will be showing off even more skills in no time. Stanley would do best in a home without cats so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself, but he does get along well with other dogs. So what do you say—could “Stan the Man” be the newest member of your household? He’s keeping his paws crossed and his “woo-woo” ready, hoping the answer is yes! All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble.
