Female Dog, White German Shepherd

White German Shepherd / Mixed (Long Coat)

Description:

Female - 1 year - 45 lbs - Microchipped - Spayed - ILHello! My name is Masala and I am a 1-year-old, 45 lb spayed female. I am already housetrained and crate-trained, and am currently crated when left home alone. I warm up quickly to new people including men, women, and children. I may bark when first meeting you then after a few minutes I will be seeking affection—I especially love belly rubs! I will follow my foster mom around the house and can often be found leaning into her side for affection. I have done well with other dogs and love to wrestle with my foster siblings! I have displayed barrier reactivity towards dogs if they are behind a fence or if I’m seeing them through a crate, so it is best for me to meet new dogs without a barrier between us. I love toys and getting to play with my foster mom! My favorites are definitely the squeaky Kong balls, followed by stuffed toys and my herding ball. I tested well with cats before coming to my foster home, so I could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat. I am still young and spent several months of my life in a shelter, so I am still learning about the skills needed for adventures such as leash walking and car riding. I ride okay in the car after being lifted in. Leash pressure startles me and I will try to back out or lay down to avoid it, so leash walking is a work in progress currently. I have learning some cues such as sit, down, and leave it. I would love a family who will continue my training and building my confidence! Are you the family I’m searching for? Follow me on Facebook: #EchoDogMasala For more information, please contact [email protected]. Echo Dogs fosters dogs in many states. Visit www.echodogs.org/available-dogs to see more of our dogs. Transportation for the adopted dog IS available. Remember, we are an all-volunteer foster rescue organization - we DO NOT have a physical shelter to visit. Our minimum adoption donation is $350. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Puppies under 6 months old may not be spayed/neutered. This would be the responsibility of the adopter at their own expense. Proof of spay/neuter will be required!
