Ziva is quite the "Diva" and is a cautious, little girl that with a person with patience, a quiet home, and a commitment to let her blossom will be a very good companion. She is approximately 3-4 years old and weighs right about 10lbs! Ziva will REQUIRE a secured, fenced yard as she will look for an escape route while getting settled and learning she is safe and loved. She will also need a quiet, adult only home as she will startle with loud noises, fast movement. Foster Update: Ziva is a diamond in the rough that is improving but will need time and patience to learn to trust humans. She will follow you everywhere but maintains space in case a 'fast exit' is needed. She will take treats from your hand and after a few days has allowed us to pet her from time to time, but will back away if you try to reach to pet her - she will need to make that connection on her own time schedule. She is a good eater, house trained, has great house manners and is quiet. She is fine around other dogs, but cats are unknown. Leash walking will need additional practice. She has all the makings and you can clearly see with time and trust, she just really wants to be a happy, lap warmer! We recommend obedience training for all dogs! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure that your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.
