He is anxious in a shelter environment but loves attention and petting and is very happy to go for car rides. He will need someone who can help him accept basic cooperative care things, like having his feet handled, but he is willing to work with people! He walks nicely on a leash, is house-trained, and has no noted health issues. Rocky hasn't been tested around cats or children, and other dogs can make him nervous, but that may or may not continue once he has a home of his own. A shelter staff person says this about Rocky: "Rocky is a very sweet once he gets to know you. He loves to play with toys. He loves to take his sweet time chewing on his busy bones. He would make a great farm dog, loading straight into the car when needed."
