Our pup has been with us for 4 years now and has intermittently signs of guarding and other reactive behavior. He has no serious bite history, but has lunged at/scratched two family members, which causes stress managing those interactions and relationships. We recently had twin babies, and the guarding/reactivity and our ability to manage it long term is not compatible with our new family dynamic. We love him dearly, but this environment is not the right one for him. I understand that there might be ways to manage further, but we are simply out of time/space/ability to do so given that our priority is our new growing family. To that end, we’re looking to re-home our beautiful, smart friend to springer lovers who can give him the space, patience, and chaos-free household (no children or pets) that we just can’t at this life stage.
