Description:

Red is a sweet and deserving boy looking for his forever family! Red was born around May 2022, and will likely weigh around 35lbs when he's full grown. Poor Red had a rough start in life - he was saved from a backyard breeder who had him tethered outside all day and night. He was "treated" for fleas with gasoline, and had chemical burns all over his body. He is a resilient and happy boy and is now enjoying the good life with his foster family! Red is dog friendly, cat friendly (although very playful), and is great with people he meets. He is crate trained and is working on his potty training. He loves to run around the yard and cuddle up with his people!Red is described by his foster family as a "silly goose!" - he is very clumsy and is always cracking them up! Since he did not have a great start to his life, he does have some separation anxiety, and isn't a huge fan of car rides. He is steadily improving as he gains confidence! He will need a family that will continue to work with him on his leash manners, and will provide him the training and structure any puppy needs to be the best version of themselves!Red will do great in a home with or without other dogs, and would prefer a family that is home regularly. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about this handsome boy, please email us at [email protected] or submit an application athttps://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area.
