Meet Bruin, an adorable Brindle and white colored Boston Terrier! This cutie is estimated to be around 2-3yr old, and weighs 20lbs. Bruin came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after being found as a stray, nearly starved to death. He is now thriving in his foster home and is loving life! He is dog friendly and has a rough and tumble play style! He walks great on leash (no pulling!) and is crate trained, and house trained. Bruin has a typical Boston Terrier personality - he is fun loving, energetic, cuddly, and stubborn at times!Bruin would love a family who will spend time playing with him, and a fenced yard (no chain link). He will bark when crated, so no apartments. Due to his energy and play style, he would do best with older kids/teens. Bruin is currently heartworm positive, and is currently available for a foster to adopt situation until his HW treatment is complete and he is medically cleared for adoption. If you are not familiar with Heartworm disease, dogs get it from mosquitoes and it is not contagious. It is easily prevented & highly treatable, but requires extended rest during treatment.
