A SWEET & PLAYFUL PUPPY: Approx. 4 months old / Approx. 36 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Lance! I’m a young pup who came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and am now ready to start my big adventure, finding a forever family to grow up with, love, and make lots of happy memories together! I was adopted for about a week and a half, but the other dog in the home was afraid of me (no aggression), so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for my new family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them and want to play. So, if you have a nice doggie at home that would like a playful puppy friend, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, but my temporary owner reported that I liked the kids I met while I was with them, though I don’t recall their ages, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers report that I’m all puppy — sweet, friendly, fun, and always ready to play! I’ve been told I’m adorable (and maybe even the most handsome pup around), and I love bringing smiles and joy everywhere I go. / Energy Level: 6-8. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ’come’, ‘drop it’, and ‘place’ commands and of course I’d like a treat for showing you these. In my temporary home, I also learned ‘lay’, ‘up’, and the word ‘kisses’. They also reported that I was a bit possessive of food, though I have not shown that behavior at Mostly Mutts. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog — so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’m doing well in my little room at Mostly Mutts and did well in my crate in my temp. home, too. / I had some accidents on the shelter schedule prior to my temp. adoption, but they reported that I did well with my potty manners while I was with them, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, the nice volunteers that come to spend time with me, playing and anything fun that comes with being a puppy! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!
