Description:
After spending 5 minutes with this lovely, sweet, little boy, it’s hard not to scoop him up in your arms and bring him home. Edward is a dear, mellow, beautiful soul, who was severely neglected. He ended up all alone and in danger, wandering busy city streets. It’s a miracle he survived, especially with his very limited vision and hearing. Now, he is ready for his second miracle, to be adopted, loved, and cared for the way he deserves. Edward is a Shih Tzu, 13-14 pounds, whose age is unknown but estimated at 12-13 years. He is very friendly and a total sweetheart, who warms the hearts of everyone he meets. He loves to cuddle and snuggle, and gives the sweetest little kisses. Edward had a cough when he arrived and was evaluated by our vet and cardiologist. He has serious heart and lung issues, and is on several medications. Edward is responding beautifully to the love and care he is receiving. His cough has decreased significantly, and he even enjoys a little strolling in the yard or on a leash. Edward’s prognosis is uncertain, but we are hoping to give him more happy months to years. All he needs is for the person meant for him to step forward, put in an application, and/or call Harriet at 954-680-6456.
