Montu’s story started in heartbreak. He was found tied to a tree and abandoned, and we simply couldn’t leave him there. From the moment we brought him to safety, he’s been nothing but grateful and full of love. He’s great with every person he meets, though he’s still learning he’s a BIG boy and doesn’t always realize his size but he is doing good with learning his manners and he's learning quickly. With other dogs, Montu can be a bit selective; he likes some and can be reactive with others. Because of his size, meet-and-greets can be a challenge, but we’ll continue helping him build better dog-to-dog skills. Montu is crate trained beautifully and is doing well practicing his leash manners. After everything he’s been through, he’s ready for a fresh start and a family who will guide him, love him, and never let him down again. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, grateful companion with a huge heart (and matching paws), Montu might be your boy. An application to adopt is required and can be found on our website under the our dogs section or adopt section at kibblezoflove.org. The adoption fee is $350 The age requirement to adopt is 25+ years old. All dogs are spayed or neutered, chipped and UTD on hw and flea preventative and all age appropriate vaccines.
