MAXX & ME PET RESCUE adoptable dogsSweet Dandy She is shy and nervous when meeting new people but truly blossoms as she gets comfortable. She would love a partner in crime, human or dog as she is very social and loves having a playmate. She loves her crate and will frequently retreat there on her own for a nap or to play with her toys. She is very gentle taking treats and loves to parade her favorite toys throughout the house. She is great on a leash and looks to the person walking her for confidence and praise. Dandy came to us from literal hell… she was part of a seizure case. The POS who owned her wouldn’t even claim her. Instead, he allowed his neighbor to try and SHOOT her! In the crossfire, a person was actually struck. Truly, an incomprehensible situation. Dandy was understandably shut down and scared to death! Since coming by to us, she has quickly blossomed and while she’s timid in new circumstances, she’s comfortable inside with her temp foster family - humans and doggie alike. We have two weeks to find Dandy another foster home - would be GREAT to find her a place she can stay FOREVER, but in the absence of that miracle, we just need a place to keep her out of boarding where she would surely regress.
