Damon and Katherine have been tackling the world since they were surrendered to the shelter and then came to Swamp Haven. Katherine is our buttery sweet black pup. She is estimated around 8 years old. It’s obvious she has had many litters in her life time, and she still takes her mom duties seriously, nurturing everyone she can and telling the fellow dog youngins to quit their shenanigans when they are being too crazy. Katherine LOVES children and gravitates right to their laps. She is very avoidant and fearful with men, but she is learning more and more every day how safe she is and that foster dad can be trusted. Damon is estimated three years old and the wild child of the two, and could actually maybe be Katherine’s child? There is no telling other than those amazing toothy grins that make us think they are related somehow. Damon may be small but is not the lap dog kind of little dog. He loves to be silly and play, and his ideal day is running around the backyard with the kids and playing with his current bestie - a 70lb German Shepherd. Little man has no fear and keeps up with the best of them! Both dogs are healthy and ready for adoption. They are currently in separate foster homes, though they are lucky enough to still get to see each other sometimes! They are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together, though they also wouldn’t mind if they did live together in their forever home. Adopt some happiness folks!
