Description:

**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Meet Penny – Your Pocket-Sized Adventure Buddy! Hi ya! I’m Penny—a 12-week-old, 3-pound burst of sunshine wrapped in fur! My journey started with a big rescue mission alongside my three siblings. We were tiny bottle babies, but with lots of love and care, I’ve blossomed into a healthy, playful pup who’s ready to light up someone’s life. Now I’m looking for my forever home in Palm Beach or Broward Counties, where my family will keep my spay appointment in June with my rescue’s trusted vet. I might be little, but I’ve got a big personality—I love to run, explore, and turn every corner into an adventure. You’ll never have a dull moment with me by your side!Because of my delicate size, I’m looking for an adult-only home where I can feel safe, cherished, and supervised. I'm great with other small dogs and I’ve never met a stranger—I greet everyone with joy! Occasionally, I get so excited I have a little “happy accident,” but I’m learning fast and already getting the hang of things.I’m discovering the wonders of the leash and love going on mini-excursions. I’m even small enough to ride in your bag (and I would love to come along everywhere you go)! Whether it’s a quick errand or a quiet afternoon at a café, I’ll be your loyal sidekick, ready to share in all of life’s moments. If you're someone who’s home often and ready to give your heart to a devoted little friend, I’d love to be your princess. All I need is love, a gentle touch, and a promise of forever. I'm a Maltese Chihuahua mix. I am NOT hypoallergenic. Please think long-term when applying to adopt. This dog's adoption fee is $650 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested please fill out the adoption application For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page. *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, and ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps, and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises.
