Meet Benny – The Sweet Survivor with a Heart of Gold Benny’s story is one of heartbreak turned into hope. Born in October 2024, this gentle soul was found in Theodore, AL—starving, covered in ticks, and bearing the painful mark of a chain around his neck. He and another dog had been dumped along a busy highway after being adopted, neglected, and abused. Thankfully, a kind foster stepped in and saved them both. Despite all he’s been through, Benny’s spirit shines bright. He’s a loving, affectionate boy who just wants to be close to his people. He’s cautious around new dogs at first but warms up quickly and enjoys their company—though he’d thrive best in a smaller pack where he can soak up plenty of attention. Benny absolutely adores children, does well with cats, and has the sweetest, most loyal nature. At just 35 pounds, Benny is the perfect medium size. He’s house- and crate-trained (though he doesn’t need either!), walks beautifully on a leash, and listens attentively to his foster mom—always staying close by. After surviving so much, Benny deserves a forever home filled with love, kindness, and cuddles. Could that be you? ❤️ Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Pensacola, Florida.
