Apply to Adopt Me!Meet Jake, the sweetest little terrier you’ll ever meet. Jake is a possible border terrier mix, 3 years old and 11 1/2 pounds of pure love. He was surrendered along with his daughter Lola to a local shelter. Jake is a laid back, quiet little guy. He loves people, and has a kind, sweet demeanor about him. When he meets new people he’s friendly and affectionate. He’s not playful with other dogs - he would rather be with his person. Jake loves laying in the warm sun next to all his fur buddies. He walks well on leash and loves going on walks. His foster mom sometimes calls him "Pop-up" because if she is relaxing and watching TV, all of a sudden a little black head pops up. He wants to be right next to you. He sleeps in his doggy bed quietly all night. He is house trained and rides quietly in the car. Jake loves laying outside in the sun, so a space where he could safely do that is preferred for him. With his longer fur, he will need regular brushing and trips to the groomer. Jake is such a sweetheart. You can’t help but love him. He has the cutest face with beautiful brown soulful eyes and he is so ready to meet his forever family.
