Millie arrived at the shelter as a stray on January 29, 2025, and while she initially showed some unpredictable behavior, she has come a long way since then. Millie is a sweet, energetic dog who thrives on positive interactions and loves human companionship. She enjoys playing in the yard, running around, and seeking attention from peopleâleaning into pets and giving lots of love in return. While Millie has shown some sensitivity to restraint, she has made great strides in settling in and is now eager for connection and play. She can be reactive toward other dogs in the kennel but remains calm and nonreactive when they pass by in the yard.Millie is a work in progress and would do best in a patient, experienced home that can offer the structure and continued socialization she needs. Sheâs already made tremendous progress, from initiating play in group settings to walking well on a leash during yard time. Millie will thrive in a home that will provide positive reinforcement training, allowing her to build confidence and continue to thrive.
