At 6 years old, Georgia appreciates the little things in life like leash walks and car rides. Her perfect match would be someone who likes to walk and ride. Georgia does get along with other dogs and sleeps alongside them during the night, but in the outside yard she prefers to stand in the background and not engage in play. Georgia would rather spend her time with a human companion.Georgia is the longest shelter resident now having been in the MCAS system since October 2024. She does have skin allergy but it is treated with medication. An adopter who takes their pets to a vet for regular check-ups would be the best situation for Georgia to control allergens that affect her. Georgia likes to hop in bed right with a human companion. She can get a little excited when receiving attention, but is treat motivated so continued training can be done with her. She is crate trained. Georgia needs to move out of the shelter system and into a forever loving family that can take care of her.
