With her striking blue eyes and black-and-white coat, she immediately stands out, but it is her gentle, affectionate personality that makes her truly special. We took her in as a temporary foster while trying to locate her owner, but after a month with no success, we are now searching for a safe and loving permanent home for her. During her time with us, she has shown zero behavioral issues, she is calm, friendly, and very people-focused. She enjoys companionship, loves relaxing on soft blankets, and has adapted beautifully to being in a home environment. Rumi is fully vaccinated, appears house-trained, and walks well on a leash. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is also good with cats, showing a respectful and gentle temperament around them. She is comfortable with children and has shown nothing but sweetness and patience. Because she is a Husky, she will thrive with someone who can give her consistent routine, affection, and appropriate daily exercise, though she has a calmer disposition than many young Huskies. We would love to continue helping her, but due to personal circumstances, we cannot keep her longer. Our only goal is to find her a loving, stable home where she can truly thrive. Rumi is a wonderful dog with a sweet spirit, and she deserves a family or person who will cherish her long-term.
