She was found as a stray in Palm Beach County and wound up at Animal Care and Control. She had recently given birth and had a c-section that needed to be repaired by our vet. She had an ulcer behind her eye that burst, which resulted in what was left of her eye, having to be removed. She was emaciated when we rescued her, but has gained weight and looks great! Despite all that this girl has been through, she is still trusting of people and other dogs. She is affectionate and playful! She is crate trained, and doing very well with potty training. She was used to breed and dumped, so most likely lived confined to a crate. She enjoys living in a loving home and rolling around on a soft dog bed and running around. Penelope deserves a home with someone who will have the time to devote to loving her. Penelope has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
