Description:

WATCH MY VIDEO...Sweet Bambi has come a long way since she first arrived in early September. When she got here, she was too scared to even come to the front of her kennel for a treat. With time and patience, our behavior team has helped her feel more comfortable, and now she’s finally starting to come out of her shell. She’s only 10 months old and about 40 lbs and still very much a puppy. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up, her playful side shines through. She loves to run around in the yard, chase the water hose, and play with her toys. Bambi was adopted as a young puppy but returned when her family realized how much work a puppy can be. She’s a sweet, energetic girl who’s good with some dogs but would do best in a home without cats. After spending over two months in the shelter, this young pup deserves a home where she can keep learning, playing, and growing with people who love her. This is no place for a nervous puppy to grow up. Come meet Bambi at the Humane Society of Broward County and show her that forever love is worth waiting for. If you can’t adopt, please consider donating to the shelter or sending enrichment treats like bones! We’re currently in need of Yak Chewsand Bully Sticks as they help dogs like Bambi relieve stress and boredom while they wait for their forever homes. Bigger bones are best, and they truly make a difference for the animals in our care. You can follow the links on our website wishlists, or if you’re local, feel free to drop them off in person!
