Description:
Wally was rescued by a police officer and was very scared when he arrived at our vet's office. He is very smart, playful, loves car rides, affectionate and knows some basic commands. He doesn't seem to react to other dogs but hasn't been dog tested. He has warmed up nicely to the staff at the vet's office but is initially fearful and will bark at men he hasn't met before. Based on our trainer's recommendations, several of our male volunteers & the male police officer who rescued him have been working with him so he will have good experiences with men, and he has been doing great. He is friendly with strangers on his field trips and very well behaved. He will benefit from additional training but is a fantastic dog.
