NAME: Twiggy BREED: Manchester Terrier mix SEX: male COLOR: black AGE: 3 yrs as of Feb 2021 WEIGHT: 20 lbs as of Sept 2021 FOSTERED BY: Lara LOCATED IN: Bradenton NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Twiggy is a very loving little guy who is looking for an active forever home. Twiggy has lots of energy and is very, very fast. He would do best in a home with a fenced yard as daily walks may not give him the exercise he needs. Another dog his size to play with would be great. He can be a bit bossy and will need further work on boundaries. Twiggy needs an adult only home - no children. He is crate trained and is doing very well with his house training. NOTE: Twiggy is a dog can be tricky with some things and is going to need a specific type of home and we will be limiting the area for adoption for him due to this. At this time we will only consider homes in the following counties: Manatee, Sarasota, Desoto. Current or recent dog history is required. Due to COVID-19 we are a little more limited on volunteers and the availability (and safety) of home visits. Local applications are given first priority and some out of town areas will not be able to be processed. At this time, we will only be able to process applications that have an excellent current vet history. If you haven’t had a pet or verifiable vet history we will not be able to process your application.
