Female Dog, Terrier

Terrier / Terrier / Mixed

Description:

As the saying goes, go big or go home! Love comes in all shapes and sizes and with this terrier mix litter, they are going big with love and lots of it. If you are looking for a large canine companion that will be the center of attention and bring lots of happiness, then look no further because your next canine family member is waiting for you. Mammoth is 8 months old and knows that the more love she gives, the more she will receive. Her family will be all that she is looking for and more. She is currently around 45 pounds so she will certainly be getting bigger, and it is estimated that she will be a large size gal likely around 60-70 pounds. Of course, time will be the true indicated of how big she will get, and, in the meantime, her forever family will have the pleasure of watching her grow up.Mammoth is a typical pup with a medium amount of energy to play, explore and investigate the world around her but also has a lower energy level to hang out and be a spectator of the world around her. She will benefit from regular exercise and lots of social interaction. She is great with other dogs and children so playmates would be a good fit for her. With her gentle nature, she does well with children of all ages. She has not had the opportunity to be introduced to a feline companion so we do not know if she would be willingly accepting of a feline at this time. We do not know what life was like prior to Mammoth coming into rescue. It can be a scary world for a young pup and Mammoth is very much on the shy side when it comes to new interactions and environments. She is improving and having a confident dog by her side does boost her confidence. She will need time and patience from her family to allow her to bloom into the confident dog we know she can be. It is all about baby steps but when she is comfortable with a person, she shows lots of affection and lots of cuddling. This girl has aced her training as she is house, and crate trained. Her leash training is a work in progress, but she knows that she will be able to master the skill with the encouragement and commitment of her family to back her up. Although Mammoth is house trained, it is important to remember that potty accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. As with all puppies, Mammoth is full of curiosity and wonderment, and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. She will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize her so that she can become the perfect lifelong companion. Mammoth knows that life is what you make of it, and she is focused on her incredibly good fortune to be able to have an opportunity to make her dreams come true. Her loving and fantastic personality will win over the hearts of many but her forever family will have the privilege of sharing her love each and every day. The adoption fee for Mammoth is $500.
