Male Dog, Labrador Retriever
Labrador Retriever / Terrier / Mixed
Description:
Bandit will steal your heart when you meet this adorable 10-month-old Labrador/Mixed Breed boy with polka dot spots decorating his short black and white coat.Bandit is aching for human attention and connection like so many Labradors who are just born to be wonderful family companions. Bandit currently weighs 40 pounds, and it is estimated he will be a medium sized dog (31-60 pounds) when he is fully grown. He is eager to spend time and puppy energy with dogs and children. It is not known if Bandit is comfortable with cats.Bandit is working on his house, crate and leash training. Puppies need plenty of time and attention to learn their manners and Bandit is so eager to please his humans that some treat rewards, a loving hand, and lots of praise will ensure that Bandit succeeds at becoming a well-behaved boy. If crate training is planned, Bandit needs a crate that grows with him so he can turn around and lie down comfortably. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out and are not to be used for punishment. Bandit has love of people, and he certainly deserves the best the world can offer him so if you are up to falling in love and snuggling up with a growing pup who just needs a warm lap and a big heart, Bandit is waiting for you.* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Bandit is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.
