Meet Patches! Calling all Blue Heeler lovers — this one's for you! Patches is the epitome of happy-dog vibes and impish cuteness. He's about 3 years old but plays like a 1-year-old, which tracks for the breed! Patches is ALL his people, toys and playing. He loves other dogs, loves his people, loves snuggling, and turns every walk or hike into an adventure. He's kennel trained (not his favorite, but a treat makes it just fine), doing well with his basic obedience, and ready to keep learning with the right family. He needs a home with a tall, fenced, large yard and an active family who'll make him part of the fun. As a true herding pup, he loves "escorting" his fellow housemates — dogs and kitties alike! He'd especially love another playful pup to romp around with, plus people who know and love everything that makes Heelers so special. Patches does slightly startle at new things, but once he learns they're okay, he's all in.
