Description:

Please go to our website at www.milehighlabmission.com to find out more about this pet and to submit an adoption application. Please DO NOT call or email us; all information about current dogs available, adoption donations, vetting, and this specific dog are on our website. We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have. Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Handsome Finn has seen the worst of the worst on the streets after being found with his deceased mom tied to a fence young pup, but that hasn't held him back! He is all love, all the time! He loves cats, dogs, kids, the foster family's large tortoise, the family birds, and anyone who is up for adventure or snuggles! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | Finn is playful, sweet, and absolutely adorable. He couldn't be more smart or wonderful!Story | Handsome Finn has seen the worst of the worst on the streets after being found with his deceased mom and brother tied to a fence outside of Houston. A good citizen found both puppies still alive, and took them in. Despite a horrific start, this boy is all love, all the time. He is sweet, doting, and ready to write the rest of his story. He recently made his way to Colorado and is doing SO WELL in his foster home! Other Dogs | Finn is great with other dogs! He reads social cues well, loves to play, and will do well in a family with other pups. He follows his foster sister everywhere and loves to snuggle.Cats | Finn has a kitty in his foster home and loves and adores him! He does great with cats and would transition well into a home with another cat. He also had a tortoise and birds in his former TX foster home and was great with them.Children | Finn LOVES kiddos, and had littles of all ages in his Texas foster home! He plays gently with his foster's 1.5 yr old, and is sweet and doting with the rest of the children too! He will make an amazing family dog. Training | In progress! Finn is potty trained, and crate trained, working on basic commands (knows sit, shake, down, and gentle when taking treats). Leash | Learning day by day!Activity Level | Moderate.Health Notes | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.
