Paizley | 1-Year-Old Chihuahua Mix | Playful, Prancing, and Full of Love Meet Paizley, a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with a tan coat, a happy heart, and enough energy to light up your day. Weighing about 14 pounds, this spirited little pup is equal parts playful and affectionate. She loves walks, car rides, and playtime just as much as she loves curling up for cuddles when it’s time to rest. Paizley is still working on her house training but is making great progress, especially with structure and consistency. She’s also a star in her kennel—she goes in easily and sleeps soundly through the night. Paizley enjoys the company of dogs her own size and has positive interactions with small dogs, though she would do best in a cat-free home. She’s friendly with people of all ages and especially enjoys older kids who can match her playful energy. This cheerful girl is full of endearing quirks—she dances when she’s excited, prances around with joy, and will happily roll over for belly rubs. She’s motivated by food, toys, and love, and while her high energy sometimes leads to play biting or jumping, she’s easy to redirect and eager to please. Feeding her in her crate has worked well, and she’s shown no food-guarding behavior with other dogs in her foster home. Paizley’s ideal home is with an active family with older children who can give her plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. With consistent training, structure, and lots of love, this playful sweetheart will make a wonderful lifelong companion. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.
