Description:
Meet Tahoe – A Sweet Soul Ready to Shine Tahoe is a young, medium-sized guy searching for a calm, quiet home where he can build confidence and show off his loving, gentle nature. While he’s not the type to bond with everyone right away, once he trusts you, he’ll stick close by your side — sometimes a little too close, even weaving under your feet in his eagerness to stay near! Despite that, Tahoe walks nicely on leash and doesn’t pull. Tahoe has shown himself to be great with cats and did wonderfully during a short-term foster stay with multiple dogs and cats, proving he’s a well-behaved and adaptable companion. He’s potty trained and sleeps peacefully through the night in his crate, making him an easy dog to live with. One funny quirk Tahoe has is that he’s a bit unsure about voices coming from the TV — but he’s curious and tries to be brave, showing his sweet willingness to explore new things at his own pace. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate dog who’s ready to blossom in the right home, Tahoe just might be the perfect fit! Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian. Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds) by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required), and a portion of the cost will be refunded. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW
