Anatolian Shepherd / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (Long Coat)

Description:

Meet Kansas! Are you looking for an outdoor adventure buddy with unbridled loyalty and a goofy personality? Then Kansas is your boy! This handsome gentleman is out of those puppy and teenage phases and ready to hop into your heart! He's people friendly, incredibly intelligent, and eager to learn all that he possibly can. He's got a generally mellow personality but still has plenty of energy for going on hikes, walks, trips to the lake, or even just romping around in the yard. He loves playing in water, though he would rather stay far away from the hose, so if you've got a kiddy pool or stream around for him he will be one happy guy! Kansas knows some of his basics such as 'Sit' and how to walk on a leash. He's very treat motivated and attentive to his handler so teaching him more should be no issue. Despite his size he knows how to take treats very gently. Kansas has had a few doggy pals here at the Ranch so he may do well in a home with the right canine companion. He likes to wrestle with his doggy pals so he may be best suited in a home with another dog around his size! Like any big dog, he doesn't seem to think he's any bigger than a chihuahua. Though he enjoys having a canine friend at times, we think Kansas wouldn't mind being your one and only either. He'll gladly soak up all the pets and eat any leftovers you may throw his way! Could this big beautiful be the perfect addition to your home? Call the Ranch to come meet him today! Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated. The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies ) APPLY NOW
